Now that we have funded our Kickstarter, there is a flurry of activity happening in the background. One of the most important things you can do at this time is READ THIS IMPORTANT UPDATE!
Kickstarter is busy processing the payments for your pledges. Jon is buttoning up all the details to push the production files to the printer. The ArtOrder team is dealing with a million tiny details to keep the project on track. Guess what? You've got something to do too!
The Fulfillment Survey
As soon as Kickstarter releases the funds to us (approx two weeks after funding), we will push the Fulfillment Survey for you to complete. What is the Fulfillment Survey? It is a quick process where you have the responsibility to:
- Confirm your pledge level and the items that come with it.
- Select any "add-ons" that you want to have included with your final order.
- Settle any outstanding fees for add-ons, shipping, etc.
- Provide your shipping details
The Fulfillment Survey is probably one of the most critical steps of the process, after your initial pledge.
The Fulfillment Survey allows us to accurately forecast the amount of product needed to be manufactured, plan logistics for which warehouse to ship products, set up the warehouses for the fulfillment to ensure sure they have the proper shipping materials and carrier support, and basically make sure that everything runs as it should.
We ask that everyone complete your Fulfillment Survey within 72 hours after receiving it.
What happens if you don't complete your Fulfillment Survey?
- We won't have your address. Without your address, we can't ship your order to the proper warehouse. As a default, all orders are shipped to the ArtOrder warehouse in Colorado. If you are an international backer, this means that the shipping rate will change to reflect the new shipping location and you will be responsible for the difference prior to the shipment of your rewards.
- We won't order enough product to fulfill on any add-ons you might want to add to your order. Because we base our production run on the information we get from the Fulfillment Survey - failure to complete yours in a timely manner might impact our ability to fulfill any add-on items you wanted to include in your rewards. If you pre-paid for add-on items but did not complete your Fulfillment Survey in time to give us an accurate count - we will not be responsible for our inability to fulfill those add-ons. Kickstarter DOES NOT pass us any Add-On information. That is only identified during the Fulfillment Survey process.
What if I move before my rewards are shipped?
- You can access the shipping information you provided at any time* and update your shipping information by using the link provided to you, or you can contact the ArtOrder Team at [email protected] to have it manually updated. *Approximately 72 hours before we ship your rewards, we will lock down shipping addresses. We will send out a 48-hour lock-down notice prior to locking the addresses. So please make sure your addresses are up-to-date.
What happens if I don't provideaccurateshipping information, or update my information prior to lockdown?
- First, your shipment may go to an incorrect location and become "lost". If this happens, we will have to make a claim on the shipment, wait for the carrier to investigate the loss, and declare it actually "lost". At that point, we will have to make a claim with the insurer. Once the insurer pays for the loss, then we will be able to see if we have enough leftover product to replace the lost items. You will be charged a $25 reprocessing fee and charged again for any shipping costs prior to the reshipment of your rewards. Neither ArtOrder nor the creator will be responsible for the lost product due to incorrect shipping information and will not issue refunds of any kind due to incorrect shipping information.
- Your shipment may be returned. If it is returned, the warehouse will have the "receive" the package, open and reinspect the contents, replace any damaged goods, repackage and reship once an accurate shipping address is obtained. In this case, you will be charged a $25 reprocessing fee, fees for any damaged product that has to be replaced, and fees for the additional shipping fees. All fees are required to be paid prior to the reshipment of your rewards.
